A large single page, wood engraved print from the London Illustrated News, showing a large sitting or gathering of the French Senate. The elaborate backdrop for the seating, is the large and immaculate Senate Chambers of Luxembourg Palace. Originally a royal residence, it was revamped to house legislature at the turn of the 19th century.
Condition: This print is in A condition, with no folds or tears. Mild toning around edges.
