This exciting graphic poster shows San Francisco as if viewed from across the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito. The city is portrayed in a 1960’s psychedelic style that accentuates the elevation changes of San Francisco’s hilly topography.
Upon closer examination, one will find that the view focuses on the music scene of San Francisco in the 1960’s with notation given to a variety of artists and local venues of the period. David Schiller was considered a pioneer of rock art. He produced a wide array of album covers and posters for bands and venues, many of which are included in this poster. David Schiller's art helped visually define the entire rock hippie artist psychedelic movement; which affected the politics of the world.
