DESCRIPTION
This antique print of Chicago, in the late 1800's shows in fine detail, the dynamic movement of the city. The mode of transportation, including Trolley cars, horse-drawn wagons and buggies, are clearly evident. The fashion of the shoppers, as well as the unique architecture of the many buildings along this "great street", add to the liveliness of this moment in time.
Beneath the print is a French description of this image, while on the verso is an image of Central Park, Minneapolis, 1895
