1872 Map of the Southern States.
DESCRIPTION
This is a beautiful 1875 Warner and Beers' map of the southern states. It depicts the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee in extraordinary detail.
The map notes major towns, counties, cities, lakes, rivers, railway lines, roads and other topographical features, with relief rendered by hachures. An inset map in the lower right corner features the southern tip of Florida with interesting and detailed rendering of the Everglades.
The map is color coded according to counties. It was issued as plate no. 75 and published by Warner and Beers from H.H. Lloyd and Co.'s Atlas of the United States.

This map is in A- condition with a few light spots. Original color.
