DESCRIPTION

This informational booklet is the subsequent leader to the “Chicago 21” plan of action later implemented in the early 1970’s. In the title page, there is a letter to Mayor Daley outlining the effective plan of action drafted by Ira Bach, the Commissioner of City Planning. Within the booklet there are large, full page aerial photographs of the areas of suggested renovation and repurposing, including the Chicago based campus for the University of Illinois. Targeted for wrap-up by the year 1980, this comprehensive plan outline is crucial for any modern Chicago historian.

CONDITION
This booklet is in B condition, with slight separation of front and back covers, been repaired with archival tape.
