This authentic hand-colored antique map from Mitchell’s New General Atlas depicts Washington, the Capitol of the United States of America, including Georgetown, color-coded by wards. The Long Bridge, the Bridge to Union Town and major landmarks are denoted, including the Capitol, Washington’s Statue and monument, the Smithsonian, and the US Arsenal to mention a few.
The map is framed by a distinctive floral and vine-leaf border.
Condition: This print is in A condition with light toning around the edges.
