This authentic antique map of Europe was published by Carea and Lea out of Philadelphia in 1821 as part of the third edition of A Complete Historical, Chronological, and Geographical American Atlas. As with the other maps of this atlas, the texts provide ample, detailed information. Europe and its various countries are described in detail and the countries and Germanic States are divided by religion.
Condition: This impressive map is in A condition on a sound sheet. Original color with minor toning along the centerfold. Short centerfold separation has been repaired with archival material on the verso.
