This is a rare WWI recruitment poster by the American born artist and illustrator Isaac Brewster Hazelton. The image was taken from a panoramic painting done by Hazelton showing seven soldiers running into battle with rifles in hand. At the bottom of the poster is an unused section for the location of a recruiting station.
Condition: This poster is in B condition, backed with original linen. Damp staining is apparent at the bottom, but far more noticeable on the verso. Minor chips, tears, and nail holes are also found along the top and bottom edges, well away from the image.
