This is a lovely lithograph presenting two views of farms in Illinois during the 18th century. The print features the homes of John Wiggington and Michael Beaver in Logan County, located in Southern Illinois, in 1873.
The top view shows a family on their front lawn tending to the animals. The lower depiction is a closer view of a rather ornate house, with several farm buildings. The peaceful scene includes the several family members, buggies, & farm animals going about the day. Atop the house, is a man who is possibly viewing the flock of Geese nearby.
Condition: B+ with some light soiling on the edges. The print presents a crisp and clear image with ample margins on all sides for framing.
