This grouping of eight informational development booklets, produced by the Department of Development and Planning throughout the course of early 1967 until ending of 1968 outline plans and purposes for eight particular Chicago neighborhood revitalization projects. Covering from “Far South” to “Far North”, these booklets are filled with proportional development work across the entirety of the city of Chicago. Each booklet includes a collection of local area photographs, as well as vibrantly colored data-filled maps of the corresponding booklet’s region. Within these works we can see the early outline for the later implemented “Chicago 21” plan by the notorious Chicago Mayor, Richard J. Daley.
Condition: This set of booklets are in A condition, with only light wear and toning appearing along the bindings of each.
