This lively portrayal of Oklahoma in 1935 depicts numerous Oil Wells and Ranches. The Osage, Pawnee, Creek, & Cherokee Indians are depicted, along with racial stereotypical cartoonish images, common during that time period. The state boundaries of Texas, Kansas, Missouri, & Arkansas are clearly shown as well. In the lower left-hand corner is a comical Compass Rose of an Indian catching oil in a bucket from a gushing well.
Condition: A condition with vibrant colors, on clean paper with a small tear in upper left hand corner.
