This is an authentic antique map of Ohio and Indiana by Johnson & Browning. The map was published in Johnson’s Family Atlas in 1862.
This map centers on the states of Indiana and Ohio with portions of Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois surrounding. A vast network of railroads is shown as well as towns, wagon roads, canals, and various features of physical geography. The map also includes a vignette of the Ohio State Capitol at Columbus and a decorative boarder used in all Johnson atlases from 1860 - 1863.
Condition: Map is in B+ condition, with minor edge tears confined to the margin.
