Loads of information is depicted including the locations of cities and towns (marked in red), smaller villages, ancient towns, pyramids, ruins, monasteries, temples, and sanctuaries. Five inserts show the Nile delta according to Herodotus, Strabo, Diodorus, Pliny and Ptolemy. Just below, is an extensive panel of text regarding the geography of Egypt and an index key.
