This is a very handsome chart of the northern Atlantic Ocean published during the era of heavy trans-Atlantic activity. The coasts are colored according to European control and the map is adorned with three compass roses.
This Chart appeared in John Senex's "A New General Atlas, containing a geographical and historical account of all the empires, kingdoms, and other dominions of the world: with the natural history and trade of each country."
Condition: This map is in B condition with nice margins, some browning and a tissue-paper backing for reinforcement.
