This print displays Jerusalem from the vantage point of a nearby hill and includes vignettes of local landmarks. The vignettes show Absalom’s Pillar, the Tomb of Kings, the Tomb of Zechariah, and views of Mount Lebanon.
The print is taken from Henri Chatelain’s Atlas Historique, one of the most widely distributed atlases of the 18th century.
Condition: This print is in A condition with a sharp vertical fold.
