An original bird's eye view jig saw puzzle of Chicago and the Century of Progress World's Fair of 1933. This jig saw puzzle was produced as a promotional item for future fair attendees and still contains all pieces.
This exceptional view features the Gondola over Burnham Harbor, the Hall of Science, Transportation Building, Soldier's Field, the Museum Campus, Grant Park with the Buckingham Fountain and several iconic buildings of Chicago's early skyline. It was this view from Lake Michigan that Chicago wanted the world to think of as a shining example of "a century of progress."
Condition: Box has wear and tear with age. This puzzle has been fully assembled to ensure all pieces are accounted for and disassembled for the enjoyment of the owner. The full puzzle image is bright and clean.
