An original chromolithograph view of Berlin, Germany as it would have appeared in the late 19th century. The view looks down on Berlin and the Spree River with Neptuneburren, St. Mary's Church, and the Berlin Cathedral appearing in the print. Several groups of mounted soldiers march in file through the city streets.
This view was one of sixteen depictions of international cities that appeared in William Collins's "The Complete Atlas, Consisting of One Hundred and Twenty Maps of Modern, Historical, Classical, and Physical Geography," published out of Glasgow in 1878.
Condition: Print is in A condition presenting a vivid image on clean paper with full margins on all sides.
