This is an eye-catching vintage, folding railway map of Scotland published by the Railway Clearing House of the British Transport Commission in 1960.
The map features the country of Scotland with portions of northern England and Ireland (in white) surrounded by a mint-green ocean. The map delineates the British Railways by region and includes the London Midland (red), North Eastern (Orange), and Scottish (Blue), which are indicated by a key underneath the map title. Many cities, towns, loughs, sounds, coach roads, and ferry routes are identified throughout the map.
Condition: The map is in A+ condition as originally issued in 30 sections, backed with clean linen that folds nicely into hard book covers held together with a spine in very fine condition.
