Where were you in '62?

This is an original vintage poster for the 1973 movie, American Graffiti, which was a coming-of-age comedy / drama set on the last night of summer vacation in 1962. The film was the first movie produced by George Lucas's film company Lucasfilm and featured a star studded cast that included Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Harrison Ford, and Suzanne Somers to name a few.

The artwork for this poster was created by Mort Drucker, an American caricaturist and comics artist best known as a contributor for over five decades with Mad Magazine. The style he employs for this poster is a direct reflection of much of his work with Mad. This poster is numbered 73/253 in the lower right.

Condition: This original poster is in A condition, professionally linen backed for preservation and presentation purposes. Any short edge tears have been closed and reinforced and any distress to the paper from original folds have been touched up to offer a exceptional eye-appeal.
