The Anderson Collection
This collection came to us on consignment in 2024 from an avid map collector of several decades with an affinity for 16th and 17th century maps. Many of these maps and bird's eye views are of European countries, counties, and towns but there are also several nice pieces showcasing the New World. Mrs. Anderson was one who appreciated originality and so a lot of these maps come in the original uncolored state and those that are colored have been done so in a tasteful and professional manner. We are honored to have been given the opportunity to handle and redistribute the Anderson collection to others that appreciate these masterful cartographic works from the Golden Age of Cartography.
