1874 Sunset, Lake Michigan
DESCRIPTION
This lovely scene of a beautiful Sunset in Lake Michigan, 1874, shows the rays of the sun, while several large sailing vessels float in the somewhat choppy water. You can almost sense the wind and waves as the still-bright sun sets behind the clouds. On the verso is yet another small print of the lake Michigan shore, near Lake Forest, 28 miles from Chicago.
CONDITION
Suitable for framing, with a minor tear in the lower right-hand corner of the outer margin.
