1893 Grand Basin, MacMonnies Fountain - Columbian Exposition

This is an antique Albert-type print of "Machinery Hall", from the Chicago Columbian Exposition, 1893. The grand scale of this time-limited event, is truly awesome. The magnificent MacMonnies Fountain is forefront, with the "Lady of the Lake" at its' center. The spectacular view shows the immense size of the waterway and columned buildings in the background. Truly a sight to behold!
