This is an authentic antique map of Illinois by Alden, Ogle & Co. The map was published out of Chicago in the year 1892.
This is a clean yet highly detailed railroad map of Illinois. All rail lines are color coded with an explanation to the left of the map. The map is divided by the counties. Important cities and small towns are noted throughout. While no roads are shown, the map does include several lakes and rivers. In the lower left, an insert focuses on Cook County where the majority of the railroads meet in Chicago.
