Manufactured in Detroit, Michigan, Packard Automotive self-advertised as being a low cost luxury vehicle, which was highly accessible to the relatively new middle class across the United States. This text heavy print seeks to outline the standard features in the Packard One-Eighty, with an attractive large central image. The retail in the bottom right corner is listed at $2228, with additional features for additional cost. A year later, in 1941, Packard Automotive switched from building cars to 100% wartime manufacturing, famous for building the engines for P-51 Mustang fighter planes.
