1935 New Finder Map of Greater San Antonio
DESCRIPTION
This is large format street map of San Antonio, Texas published by Southwell Map Company in 1935. The map is quite rare with only one institutional example found on OCLC.
Centered on downtown San Antonio with concentric circles radiating out at one mile intervals, this detailed map lists virtually all street names, highways, and neighborhoods. Green shading notes points of interest, some of which include the Alamo, Fort Sam Houston, Camp Normoyle (technical supply depot) and a variety of missions, parks, and colleges. In the lower right, a legend identifies, a wide range of schools both public and private, U.S. and State Highways, parks, cemeteries, and the city limits.
