This 1940s street car and motor coach map of the Dallas area provides travelers and commuters with everything they need to know to traverse the growing city of Dallas. Street car (electric trolley) routes are shown in blue and motor coach (bus) routes in red. The surrounding towns of Cockrell Hill, Honey Springs, Fruitdale, Highland Park, University Hill, and Preston Hollow and noted in bold blue text.
One point of interested especially for sports fans is the Fair Park Stadium, which was the home of the original Cotton Bowl Classic from 1937 - 2009 when the game was moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
An inset map of downtown Dallas appears in the lower right above an outline of the 1940s skyline. In the lower left corner is a table providing the number and names of the various public transportation routes throughout the city.
