This authentic antique hand colored map by Asher & Adams is among the earliest maps of the Utah Territory in its modern configuration to appear in a commercial atlas. Small portions of neighboring states are depicted, including Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho.
The railroads of the time are an important feature of the map, but all geographical and topographical features are included. Rivers, mountain ranges and canyons coming from those ranges are duly noted and named. Cities, towns and settlements are all noted.
Condition: This map is in B condition. Full borders with even toning around the edges. Centerfold separations have been repaired with archival materials as has a small tear in the upper right quadrant.
