This grand copper engraved map by Brue is features South America in its entirety, and includes a number of small inset maps of various groups of islands such as the Sandwich, the Gallapagos and the Shetlands. The large map is highly detailed in every aspect. It is printed on heavy paper with wide margins, royal seal, script title and keyboard border. Lovely, original outline coloring with a color-coded key embellishes the map.
Condition: The engraving of this map is of an exceptionally high standard. The map is in A condition with very minor foxing in places.
