This is a vintage map showing a bird’s eye view of San Francisco, CA looking west over the city, with Golden Gate and the Pacific Ocean in the background. The original lithograph was produced in 1912 to promote the 1915 World’s Fair of San Francisco, which was officially known as the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. This example was reproduced in 1968 from the original lithograph in the collections of the Society of California Pioneers to commemorate the opening of the First Savings Building, California Sansome, San Francisco.
Condition: Map is in B+ condition with images of minor tears from the reproduced image. A few small tears o exist in the paper along the margins.. 22.5 x 15 inches.
