Description: This authentic antique map of the state of Oregon was ordered and published under the auspices of the Department of the Interior General Land Office. In keeping with the other maps in this series, the map is highly detailed and denotes all that was known at the time of all geographical and some geophysical features of the state. In addition to detailing mountain ranges and river systems in minute detail, the map also includes Indian reservations, forest reserves, deserts, and all major towns and cities and even small towns. Lighthouses and military roads are also detailed. A small inset is an enlargement showing the city of Portland.
Condition: This map is in A+ condition on the recto. The verso has slight soiling of the fold lines.
