The map is encompassed on three sides by English language text describing all aspects of concern to explorers, both armchair and real-life ones. Climate and Produce, Ancient State of Africa, Present State of Africa, European Settlements and Trade are but a few of the topics covered in detail in the text.
Condition: This map is in A condition with a tiny split at the centerfold which has been repaired with archival material. Good thick paper and a strong, dark impression.
