This is an original vintage poster for The Monkees. This poster and so many others from the 1960s rock era were published by Dave Schiller of Sparta Graphics, based out of San Jose, California.
It features the band members, Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones and Peter Tork gathered together wearing bellbottom pants and clothes indicative of 1960s hippie fashion. The band members are accompanied by four monkeys with big eyes, long tails, and one that is wearing a knit hat. Their band name appears in the top left, written in a manner to resemble a guitar.
Condition: This vintage poster is in B condition with near-straight edges and lightly bumped corners. There is some light staining along the right edge and lower left corner as well as a short tear in the right margin that has been reinforced on the verso using archival materials.
