This is a lovely lithograph view of a farm in Illinois during the 18th century. The print features the home of John Buckles surrounded by a wrought-iron fence. In the foreground are numerous grazing farm animals, an orchard, and vegetable garden. A smoke and wash-house, ice-house, milk-house, barn, scales, and wind pump are also depicted and labeled. The background consists of rolling hills, grazing livestock, and two locomotives traveling along a railroad.
Condition: B+ with some foxing within the image and some light damp-staining and soiling within the margins. The print presents a crisp and clear image with ample margins on all sides for framing.
