Kolesnikov) and source material (The Thousand and One Nights). On the smaller vase to the left, the poster credits the director A. The text at the top of the poster clarifies in Ukrainian that the production is sanctioned by the Ministry of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR and that it is being put on by the Poltava Regional Puppet Theatre. In the top right, dimension measurements taken by a former owner are written in with what appears to be a light red colored pencil.

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

This classic tale centers around a poor woodcutter named Ali Baba (here shown riding atop a donkey) overhearing of a password to the band of thieves' trove of riches.
