This vibrant-colored map is an excellent example of Ruth Taylor White's work. All the major rivers are portrayed, as well as an occasional tornado. The agriculture that comes from this part of the U.S. include Rye, Barley, Wheat & Cattle farming. Fort Barthold Indian Reservation, Bismarck, and the Badlands are shown in a fun, yet educational, way. The major rivers of this state help indicate their importance in settlements and boundary between Minnesota and N.D.
