This is an authentic antique map of North America by AJ Johnson. It was published in 1864 in New York. This very colorful map provides an excellent snapshot of mid-19th century North America. British America (Canada) and Mexico are shown in great detail with color-coded provinces and the United States is also color-coded according to its various states and territories. The map shows the territories of New Mexico Dakota Nebraska and Washington before they were divided into modern-day states and also shows Alaska as a Russian territory.
Condition: This map is in A condition. It retains sharp color and detail while sporting a sharp horizontal fold with minor coloration around the edges. The map has some minor spotting on the image.
