This is an authentic antique map of Wisconsin by J. Grässl. The map was published out of Hildburghausen, Germany and is dated 1852.
This attractive steel-engraved map shows the State of Wisconsin during the mid-nineteenth century. Much of the Wisconsin population is confined to the southern third of the state. Much of the northern portion of the state is divided into a few large counties. Lakes and rivers are noted along with locations of Native American villages.
Condition: Map is in A condition, with wide margins, and original coloring.
