This is a striking map of the island of Ceylon which is now known as Sri Lanka. The map is loaded with detail including harbors along the cost and towns such as Colombo Jaffna Galle Kandy and Trincomalee to name a few. The map also includes rivers mountains forests and symbols for small towns and cities.
Condition: Map is in A+ condition issued folded now pressed flat. Map exhibits tasteful hand coloring within the mountains and along the coast.
