This chart accompanies a map from Lavoisne’s Atlas which depicts the extent of the Russian Empire in the first quarter of the 19th century. The folio page includes detailed genealogy of a number of royal houses.
The house of Rurick is the oldest of the dynasties chronicled here, founded by Varangian prince Rurik in Novgorod in 862 with the line continuing till 1591, including Grand Dukes and Czars throughout the centuries. The Houses of Romanov and Holstein are depicted along with text providing their history.
The opposite side of the sheet features the House of Hohenzollern, tracing their lineage from 1415 to the reign of Frederick William III in 1815, and some of his exploits. Text below the lineages provides a summary of the history of the House of Hohenzollern.

Condition: This map is in A condition. Crisp impression. Very light toning at the centerfold. Minimal foxing in the top margin and one almost imperceptible worm hole.
