A robust double-sided pictorial map published by the Chicago Motor Coach Company depicting important architecture throughout the city of Chicago. With one side depicting the city at large while the other focuses on the Downtown area.   

Published in 1927, this map shows an important moment in Chicago history prior to the addition of many iconic modernist buildings. With detailed illustrations of architectural works spanning East 87th street to the intersection of Carpenter Rd and Touhy Ave. Some notable works shown include Union Station, The Lexington Hotel, The Field Museum, Tribune Tower, The Drake Hotel, St Stanislaus Church, Roosevelt Theater, The Art Institute, Orchestra Hall et al. 

The side surveying the entire city contains an inset map to the lower left corner outlining Chicago's city limits. Together with a postcard c. 1933 also published by the Chicago Motor Coach Company as well as the map's original paper wrap. 

Condition: This map is in A condition with full margins and light toning to the edges. The entire piece has creases from its original folding.
