DESCRIPTION
This linen backed folding map provides a general view of the Adriatic Sea along with highly detailed coastline and islands. Two of the three inset maps provide close-up views of major ports, including Ancona and Brendisi, while a third provides details of various anchorage sites near an island belonging to the group of the beautiful, tiny, so-called ‘secret’ Tremiti islands in the Adriatic. Longitude and latitude junctions crisscross the open waters and rhumb lines radiate from two points in the sea. Depth soundings are provided throughout the map.
