1898 Antique Prints: United States Navy
DESCRIPTION
This is a fine selection of remarkable gravure prints illustrating scenes of the United States Navy from the 18th century to the latter years of the 19th century. These prints were made from original paintings by artists such as Jean Andre Castaigne, Julian Oliver Davidson, and others.
Each print is mounted onto a heavy rag paper as originally issued in the National Edition of the Army and Navy of the United States 1776 - 1989 by George Barrie & Son.
CONDITION
These prints are in A condition with some light damp-staining, occasional minor tears and bumped corners to the heavy mounting paper that holds each print.
