1898 Antique Colored Prints: United States Military
DESCRIPTION
This is a fine selection of remarkable gravure prints illustrating scenes of the United States Military from the late 18th century to the the turn of the 20th century. The majority of these prints were made from original paintings by the artists Jean Andre Castaigne.
Each print was once contained in a matting, but has since been removed. They were issued in the National Edition of the Army and Navy of the United States 1776 - 1989 by George Barrie & Son.
CONDITION
These prints are in B condition with some remnants of adhesive and paper from old matting. Many of these prints show brush strokes outside the image. Most condition issues will be hidden once matted.
