This remarkable vintage original WWII poster is part of a poignant series issued by Abbott Laboratories in collaboration with the United States Treasury’s Schools-At-War Program.This design underscores the importance of all citizens on the home front contributing to the war effort by buying war bonds to finance combat operations. In an artistic twist, Joseph Hirsch cleverly incorporated his name on the duffle bag of one soldier, symbolically representing himself and his art supplies.
