This remarkable vintage original WWII poster is part of a poignant series issued by Abbott Laboratories in collaboration with the United States Treasury’s Schools-At-War Program.This design underscores the importance of all citizens on the home front contributing to the war effort by buying war bonds to finance combat operations. The lively image invites viewers to imagine the excitement of a victory parade, highlighted by a soldier proudly holding his rifle aloft while displaying a captured Nazi helmet around his neck.

Abbott Laboratories, a key supplier of penicillin during World War II and well-known for its development of anesthetics in World War I, commissioned this compelling artwork to encourage the purchase of war bonds.
