This striking World War II propaganda poster features the Statue of Liberty standing tall against a dramatic sky, with her torch illuminated as a beacon of hope.

The text, written in Romanian, translates to "For Better Times…," reinforcing the message that purchasing U.S. War Bonds would help secure a brighter future. Designed to appeal to Romanian-speaking immigrants and communities, this poster was part of the broader effort to rally financial support for the war. The bold contrast of blue, yellow, and black, combined with a patriotic symbol, conveys strength, resilience, and the promise of victory through unity and economic contribution.

Condition: Poster is in A condition, linen backed, extremely vivid colors in poster. Has visible fold lines but since linen backed lays flat.
