This beautiful inspirational poster from the 60's was designed by Lucia Pearce with the following quote by R. Buckminster Fuller.

"For God, to me, it seems is a verb... is loving... is knowledge dynamic... Yes, God is a verb, the most active, connoting the vast harmonic reordering of the universe from unleashed chaos of energy."

Richard Buckminster Fuller was an architect and author who among other things invented the 'geodesic dome' - which is what the Eden Project buildings are - which you can see elements of in the design of this poster. It's a really profound statement that will get you thinking every time you read it.

Lucia Pearce was a crucial figure in the birth of the 'New Age' movement in California and is now a world-renowned art therapist and writer. She trained as a Montessori teacher and these posters were designed by her to uplift and inspire both adults and children, drawing on the words of writers such as Kahlil Gibran and Rilke as well as Fuller. They are really eye-catching and the colors are so vibrant, with beautifully simple designs and wonderful words.

Looart was founded in 1947 by Orin Loo out of the family garage, whom had early success creating greeting cards. Orin's wife Miriam then started a company called Current that sold “Post-A-Notes” in bulk to local churches advertising them as a fundraising item.  In the 1960s Orin and Miriam’s sons, Dusty and Gary merged the two companies to for the Looart Press which would produce remarkable travel posters and prints among other items until the business sold in 1987 for $115 million.

Condition: Poster is in A+ condition, stored for decades with no bends, folds, tears, or holes. The condition of this poster can easily be described as like-new, museum quality.
