This finely engraved map depicts a portion of the territories in Europe controlled by the Austrian and Ottoman Empires just as the Russo-Turkish War was ending. The map is from the atlas published in Paris entitled 'Atlas Supplementaire du Precis de la Geographie Universelle de M. Malte-Brun'.
The lower left quadrant is embellished with an attractive vignette featuring the beloved, beautiful and well-known Kravica waterfalls in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
