This is an exquisite antique photo of Lincoln Park, in Chicago, 1895. In the background is a Boat House, designed by Perkins & Hamilton, in the Prairie School style. Surrounding the lagoon are a variety of trees, with space to welcome picnickers. Approximately 300 acres in size, this area of the city offers a refuge from urban life for many residents. The beauty is captured in this print.
Beneath the image is a detailed description of Chicago, while on the verso is another photo of a Public Square, in Cleveland, Ohio.
