This authentic antique map of the State of Wyoming was 'Compiled from the Official Record of the General Land Office and other sources'. It is very detailed from a geographic point of view, including minute attention to all geophysical features. Mountains, rivers, streams., various basins, and of course all counties and towns are included.
Indian reservations are colored for easy identification, as are forest reserves, and national parks. Four small inset maps feature the cities of Evanston, Laramie, Sheridan and its vicinity, and Cheyenne and its vicinity, and Yellowstone Park is highly detailed. Townships containing coal and those thought to contain coal are noted.
Condition: This map is in A+ condition. It was published folded, but there is little to no wear of the folds.
